Hamburger Steak Ingredients
Method
Directions for Hamburger Steak
- 1
Prepare the Patties
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- 2
Shape the Patties
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty, about 1 inch thick.
- 3
Cook the Patties
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- 4
Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, sprinkle shredded Monterey Jack cheese on top of each patty. Cover the skillet to help the cheese melt.
- 5
Serve with Tapado Sauce
Once the cheese is melted, remove the patties from the skillet and serve immediately, topped with tapado sauce.
