Prepare the Taco Shells
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the taco shells on a baking sheet and heat them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until warm and slightly crispy.
Cooking the Beef

Cook the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- 3
Season the Beef
Once the beef is browned, drain excess fat if necessary. Add the taco seasoning and water. Stir to combine and let simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Assembling the Tacos
- 4
Prepare Toppings
While the beef is simmering, wash and chop the lettuce and tomatoes. Set aside.
- 5
Assemble the Tacos
Take a warm taco shell and fill it with a generous scoop of the seasoned ground beef. Top with chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
