Method

Grilled Cheese

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Take the slices of bread and lay them out on a clean surface. Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice.

  2. 2

    Add Cheese

On the unbuttered side of two slices of bread, place 2 oz of cheddar cheese on each slice.

  3. 3

    Season

Sprinkle garlic powder and a pinch of salt over the cheese.

  4. 4

    Top and Grill

Place the other two buttered slices on top of the cheese, buttered side up. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwiches for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Fries

  1. 5

    Prep Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into even strips to form fries.

  2. 6

    Season Fries

In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, paprika, and salt until evenly coated.

  3. 7

    Bake Fries

Spread the seasoned fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes or until crispy, turning halfway through.
