Prepare the Glass
Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of a rocks glass to moisten it.

Add Salt
Dip the rim of the glass into a plate of salt to coat the rim evenly.
Mixing the Drink

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of tequila, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz of agave syrup.

Shake Well
Add 1 cup of ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Serving

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass filled with ice.

Garnish with a lime wedge and a few fresh mint leaves for added aroma and decoration.
