Method
Beef Tacos
- 1
Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
- 2
Add Taco Seasoning
Stir in the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for 5 minutes until well combined.
- 3
Prepare Taco Shells
While the beef is simmering, warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
- 4
Assemble Tacos
Fill each taco shell with the beef mixture and top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and a dollop of sour cream.
Cheese Nachos
- 5
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 6
Prepare Tortilla Chips
Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a baking sheet.
- 7
Add Cheese
Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the tortilla chips and add sliced jalapeños on top.
- 8
Bake Nachos
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 9
Serve with Guacamole
Remove from the oven and serve immediately with guacamole on the side.
Rice
- 10
Rinse Rice
Rinse the white rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- 11
Cook Rice
In a medium saucepan, combine rinsed rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- 12
Simmer
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
- 13
Fluff and Serve
Remove from heat, let it sit covered for 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork and serve.
