Method

Cooking the Eggs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Eggs

Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add salt and black pepper. Whisk lightly until the yolks and whites are combined.

  2. 2

    Cook the Eggs

Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour the eggs into the skillet. Cook to your desired doneness (scrambled, fried, etc.). Remove from heat and set aside.

Cooking the Meat

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In the same skillet, add the bacon slices. Cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 4

    Cook the Sausage

In the same skillet, add the sausage links. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. 5

    Cook the Ham

In the same skillet, add the ham slices. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until heated through. Remove and set aside.

Cooking Potatoes or Grits

  1. 6

    Prepare Breakfast Potatoes

Boil diced potatoes in salted water until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and season with salt and pepper.

  2. 7

    Prepare Grits

In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Gradually stir in the grits, reduce heat, and simmer for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.

Serving

  1. 8

    Assemble the Breakfast

On a plate, serve the cooked eggs alongside the bacon, sausage, or ham. Add the choice of breakfast potatoes or grits. Serve biscuits on the side.

  2. 9

    Optional Additions

If desired, add a waffle or pancake to the plate for an additional cost.
