Method
Preparing Nutburger Patty

Prepare the Nut Mixture
In a food processor, combine walnuts, almonds, and cooked chickpeas. Pulse until the mixture is coarsely chopped but not too fine.

Form Patties
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and use your hands to form large patties, approximately 1 inch thick. Place them on a plate.

Chill
Cover the patties with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
Making Pocket Bread

Activate Yeast
In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.

Mix Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.

Shape the Pockets
Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into 6 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a flat circle about 6 inches in diameter.

Cook the Pocket Bread
Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Cook each circle for about 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly browned and puffed.
Assembling the Super Nutburger

Cook the Nutburger Patties
In a non-stick skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Cook each nutburger patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
