Method
Marinade Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- 2
Marinate the Chicken
Place the boneless chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Grilling and Assembly
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).
- 4
Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is cooked through.
- 5
Assemble the Sandwich
Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until lightly browned. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Place a grilled chicken breast on each bun, top with lettuce leaves, and cover with the top half of the bun.
- 6
Serve
Serve the grilled chicken sandwiches immediately while hot with your favorite sides.
