Prepare the Croutons
- 1
Make the Croutons
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread into small cubes (about 1-inch). In a large bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated.
- 2
Bake the Croutons
Spread the coated bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Stir halfway through for even baking. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Make the Dressing
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic. Mix well until smooth.
- 4
Season the Dressing
Add salt and black pepper to the dressing to taste. Adjust seasoning as needed and set aside.
Assemble the Salad
- 5
Prepare the Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Pat dry with a clean towel or spin in a salad spinner. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.
- 6
Add Dressing and Croutons
Drizzle the prepared Caesar dressing over the lettuce and toss gently to coat. Add the croutons and sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
- 7

Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and black pepper if desired.
