Method

Preparation of Broth

1

Prepare the Broth

In a large pot, combine chicken stock, miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

2

Simmer the Broth

Allow the broth to simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure the miso paste is fully dissolved.

Cooking Noodles

3

Cook the Noodles

In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Add Sapporo-style ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 3-4 minutes.

4

Drain the Noodles

Once cooked, drain the noodles and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

Assembling the Ramen

5

Prepare the Bowl

In serving bowls, place a portion of the cooked noodles at the bottom.

6

Add Broth

Ladle the hot broth over the noodles until they are submerged.

7

Add Toppings

Top the ramen with slices of chashu pork, soft-boiled eggs (halved), chopped green onions, torn nori, bamboo shoots, and corn kernels as desired.
