In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar. Whisk together until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted unsalted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
Cook Pancakes

Heat the Pan
Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.

Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip the pancake and cook for another 2 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve

Stack the pancakes on a plate. Drizzle with maple syrup and top with fresh berries. Serve warm.
