Method
Preparation of Earl Grey Infused Bourbon
- 1
Infuse the Bourbon
In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a simmer. Add 1 cup of Earl Grey tea and steep for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Once cooled, strain the tea through a fine mesh sieve to remove the leaves. In a glass jar, combine the cooled Earl Grey tea with 2 oz of Bully Boy Bourbon. Seal the jar and let it infuse for at least 1 hour (or up to overnight in the refrigerator for a stronger flavor).
Mixing the Cocktail
- 2
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add the infused Bully Boy Bourbon (including the Earl Grey), chai spice liqueur, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters. Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes (about 4 pieces) and stir well for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
