Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the boneless chicken breast into bite-sized pieces (about 1-2 inches).
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In a bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour and cornstarch. In another bowl, beat the eggs and milk together.
Breading and Cooking
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, then coat with the flour and cornstarch mixture. Make sure each piece is fully coated.
- 4
Heat Oil for Frying
In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat oil to 350°F (175°C). You can use vegetable oil or canola oil.
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Fry the breaded chicken pieces in batches to avoid overcrowding. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Sauce Preparation
- 6
Make the Hot Sauce
In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the hot sauce, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Stir until combined and heated through.
Serving

Toss the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the fried chicken pieces in the hot sauce mixture until well coated.
- 8
Serve with Dipping Sauce
Serve the boneless wings with ranch dressing or bleu cheese dressing on the side.
