Method

Pulled Pork Taco

  1. 1

    Cook the Pork

Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Add salt, pepper, and enough barbecue sauce to coat the pork. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender.

  2. 2

    Shred the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Mix the shredded pork back with the remaining barbecue sauce.

  3. 3

    Prepare Tacos

Warm the taco shells in the oven according to package instructions. Fill each taco shell with pulled pork, top with coleslaw mix, and sprinkle with chopped cilantro. Squeeze lime juice over the top.

Chicken Taco

  1. 4

    Cook the Chicken

In a skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Add the boneless chicken thighs and sprinkle taco seasoning over them. Cook for about 6-8 minutes per side until fully cooked.

  2. 5

    Slice the Chicken

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and allow to rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken into strips.

  3. 6

    Prepare Tacos

Warm the taco shells as per the package instructions. Fill each taco shell with sliced chicken, top with salsa, diced avocado, and a squeeze of lime juice.

Shrimp Taco

  1. 7

    Cook the Shrimp

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and sprinkle with taco seasoning. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp are pink and opaque.

  2. 8

    Prepare Tacos

Warm the taco shells according to package instructions. Fill each taco with cooked shrimp, top with shredded cabbage, chopped cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice.
