Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it's hot enough for baking.

Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate and unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.
Mixing the Batter

In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Evenly distribute the batter into the prepared ramekins, filling each about 2/3 full.
