Preparing the Brisket

Sear the Brisket
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the brisket on all sides until browned (about 4-5 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and set aside.

Combine Ingredients in Slow Cooker
Transfer the seared brisket to a slow cooker. Add the sautéed onion and garlic, beef broth, salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.

Slow Cook the Brisket
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the brisket is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
Preparing the BBQ Sauce

Mix the BBQ Sauce
In a small bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well mixed.
Serving

Shred the Brisket
Once cooked, remove the brisket from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded brisket to the slow cooker.

Add BBQ Sauce
Pour the prepared BBQ sauce over the shredded brisket and mix well to coat.

Scoop the brisket bites into serving dishes and enjoy warm.
