Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Apply the Dry Rub

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Rub the mixture all over the ribs, ensuring even coverage. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 300°F / 150°C).

  4. 4

    Cook the Ribs

Place the ribs on the grill bone-side down. Close the lid and cook for about 1.5 to 2 hours, turning occasionally, until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone.

  5. 5

    Add BBQ Sauce

In the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the BBQ sauce onto the ribs, flipping them occasionally to caramelize the sauce.

  6. 6

    Rest and Serve

Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
