Method

Prepare the Filling

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, cream cheese, finely chopped green chilies, and lime juice. Mix until well combined and creamy. Set aside.

Assemble the Dumplings

  1. 2

    Fill the Wontons

Take a wonton wrapper and place about a teaspoon of the crab mixture in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it over to form a triangle, and press to seal. You can also fold the corners of the triangle to the top to create a pouch shape. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

Fry the Dumplings

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 180°C (350°F).

  2. 4

    Fry the Dumplings

Carefully place a few dumplings in the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Prepare Smashed Avocado

  1. 5

    Mash the Avocado

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Add lime juice and salt to taste, then mash with a fork until desired consistency is reached.

Make Dipping Sauce

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together the sweet chili sauce and minced garlic. Stir well to combine.
