Chill the Glass
Place a cocktail glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while preparing the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of bourbon, 1 oz of cognac, and 1 oz of red wine. Fill the mixing glass with ice.

Stir the Mixture
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled and diluted.

Prepare the Glass
Remove the cocktail glass from the freezer or discard the ice water. Strain the mixture into the chilled glass.

Garnish
Add a slice of orange on the rim of the glass and place a cinnamon stick in the drink for garnish.
