Preparation
- 1
Wash the fresh cherries thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or impurities.
- 2
Remove the stems and pits from the cherries. You can do this by cutting them in half and twisting out the pit or using a cherry pitter.
- 3
Juice the lime using a citrus juicer to obtain fresh lime juice. Set aside.
Mixing
- 4
In a large glass or pitcher, combine the pitted cherries and fresh lime juice. Muddle the cherries gently with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release their juices.
- 5
Pour the citrus soda into the glass or pitcher with the muddled cherries and lime juice. Stir gently to combine, being careful not to lose the fizz.
Garnishing
- 6
Add fresh mint leaves on top of the drink for garnish. You can gently slap the mint leaves between your hands before adding them to release more aroma.
- 7
Serve immediately over ice if desired, and enjoy your refreshing Cherry Hall drink!
