Preparation of the Topping

Dicing the Tomatoes
Wash the ripe tomatoes, then dice them into small pieces. Place them in a medium bowl.

Chopping the Garlic
Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Add the chopped garlic to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Preparing the Basil
Wash the fresh basil leaves thoroughly. Pat them dry, then chop them roughly. Add the basil to the bowl with tomatoes and garlic.

Mixing Ingredients
Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the tomato mixture. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Gently toss everything together until well combined.

Slicing the Bread
Slice the baguette or Italian loaf into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Assembling the Bruschetta

Topping the Bread
Once the bread is grilled, remove it from the grill and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto each slice of grilled bread.

Serving
Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter. Optionally, you can drizzle a little extra olive oil over the top before serving. Enjoy immediately!
