Prepare the Strawberries
Wash and slice the strawberries. If desired, sprinkle with sugar and let them sit for a few minutes.

Toast the Bread
Toast the slices of bread until golden brown and crispy.

Toast the Hazelnuts
In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the hazelnuts until they are fragrant and slightly browned, about 5 minutes. Let them cool slightly, then chop them coarsely.

Assemble the Toast
Spread Nutella generously over each slice of toasted bread. Top with sliced strawberries and sprinkle with toasted hazelnuts.

Add Whipped Cream
Add a dollop of whipped cream on top of the strawberries or serve on the side.
