Truffle Seasoning

Chipotle Ketchup

Creamy Truffle Sauce

Method

Preparing the Fries

  1. 1

    Cut the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into straight-cut fries, approximately 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Soak the Fries

Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a deep pot or fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  4. 4

    Fry the Potatoes

Fry the potatoes in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Season with Salt

While hot, sprinkle the fries with salt to taste.

Adding Truffle Flavor

  1. 6

    Prepare Truffle Seasoning

In a small bowl, mix together the truffle oil, garlic powder, black pepper, and dried parsley.

  2. 7

    Toss Fries

In a large bowl, toss the hot fries with the truffle seasoning until evenly coated.

  3. 8

    Add Parmesan

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the fries and toss again to combine.

Making the Sauces

  1. 9

    Chipotle Ketchup

In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, chipotle powder, and lime juice until well combined.

  2. 10

    Creamy Truffle Sauce

In another bowl, combine the mayonnaise, truffle oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Stir until smooth.

Serving

  1. 11

    Plate the Fries

Serve the truffle parmesan fries hot, alongside small bowls of chipotle ketchup and creamy truffle sauce for dipping.
