Burger Preparation

Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.

Form the Patties
In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into two patties.

Cook the Patties
In the same skillet, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Make the Beer Cheese Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, beer, garlic powder, mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheeses are melted and the sauce is smooth. Remove from heat.
Cajun Onion Strings Preparation

Prepare the Onions
Slice the onion into thin rings and soak them in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.

Coat the Onion Rings
In a bowl, mix flour and Cajun seasoning. Remove the onions from the buttermilk and dredge them in the flour mixture.

Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each pretzel bun, place a cheeseburger patty, top with crispy bacon, drizzle with beer cheese sauce, and finish with a handful of Cajun onion strings. Place the top half of the pretzel bun on top and serve immediately.
