Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pickles

Drain the dill pickle slices and pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, set up your breading station: one with all-purpose flour, one with a mixture of beaten eggs and milk, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Breading

  1. 3

    Bread the Pickles

Take a pickle slice, coat it in flour, dip it in the egg and milk mixture, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat for all pickle slices.

Frying

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 5

    Fry the Pickles

Carefully add the breaded pickle chips to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

  1. 6

    Make the Dipping Sauce

In a small bowl, combine honey and yellow mustard. Stir well until blended. Adjust the sweetness to taste.
