Mixing the Base
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of vanilla vodka and 1 oz of butterscotch liqueur. Fill the shaker with ice and shake gently for about 10-15 seconds until well mixed.

Combining with Root Beer
In a tall glass, pour the mixture from the shaker over ice, then slowly add 6 oz of root beer to the glass. Stir gently to combine.

Top the drink with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
