Method

Pretzel Bites

  1. 1

    Prepare Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.

  3. 3

    Let Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  4. 4

    Shape Pretzel Bites

Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Roll the dough into ropes and cut into 1-inch pieces. Shape each piece into a bite-sized ball.

  5. 5

    Prepare Baking Soda Bath

In a large pot, bring 10 cups of water to a boil and add baking soda. Boil the pretzel bites in batches for 30 seconds each.

  6. 6

    Bake

Place the boiled bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and coarse sea salt. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Beer Cheese

  1. 7

    Melt Cheese

In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine cream cheese and beer. Stir until melted and smooth.

  2. 8

    Add Cheddar

Gradually add shredded cheddar cheese, stirring continuously until fully melted and combined.

  3. 9

    Season

Add garlic powder, mustard, and black pepper. Stir well and remove from heat.

Honey Mustard

  1. 10

    Mix Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine honey and yellow mustard. Stir until well mixed.
