Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Begin by cutting the chicken breast into strips if not pre-cut. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Set up the Breading Station
In three separate bowls, set up your breading station: one with flour mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder; another with beaten eggs and milk; and the last with bread crumbs.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip first into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat it with bread crumbs. Make sure each strip is well-coated.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully place breaded chicken strips into the hot oil. Fry in batches to avoid overcrowding, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Remove the fried chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with ranch dressing.
