Preparation

1

Prepare the Strawberry Simple Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine equal parts of sliced fresh strawberries and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the strawberries release their juices. Once it reaches a simmer, remove from heat and let it cool. Strain the mixture to remove solids and store the syrup in a clean bottle.

2

Prepare the Glass

Rub the rim of a glass with a lime wedge and dip it into coarse sea salt to coat the rim. Set aside.

Mixing the Cocktail

3

Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 2 oz of Corazon Tequila, 1 oz of Aperol, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 1 oz of strawberry simple syrup.

4

Shake Well

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

5

Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Optionally, you can serve it up in a chilled cocktail glass without ice.

Garnishing

6

Add Garnish

Garnish the cocktail with fresh strawberries and a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
