Sliders

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

2

Caramelize the Onions

In the same skillet, add the sliced onions to the bacon drippings. Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown and caramelized. Remove from heat.

3

Form the Beef Patties

In a bowl, gently mix the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into 4 equal patties, about 3/4 inch thick.

Cooking the Sliders

4

Cook the Beef Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Gouda cheese on each patty to melt.

5

Assemble the Sliders

On each slider bun, spread 1 tablespoon of Dijonnaise. Place the cooked beef patty with melted Gouda on top. Add a slice of crispy bacon, a generous scoop of caramelized onions, and a handful of arugula.

6

Serve

Top with the other half of the slider bun. Serve immediately and enjoy!
