Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into small chunks. Place them in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil.

  2. 2

    Cook the Potatoes

Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender. Drain and return to the pot.

  3. 3

    Mash the Potatoes

Add garlic cloves, butter, milk, salt, and black pepper to the drained potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Steak

Season the ribeye steak generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  5. 5

    Cook the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ribeye steak and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  6. 6

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  7. 7

    Serve

Plate a generous scoop of garlic mashed potatoes alongside the sliced ribeye steak. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
