Method

Beef Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Beef

In a bowl, combine olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the beef steak and coat it well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Beef

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated beef for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the desired doneness is reached. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Salad Assembly

  1. 3

    Prepare the Salad Ingredients

Thinly slice the red onion. Chop the mint leaves and cilantro coarsely. Set aside.

  2. 4

    Slice the Beef

Once the beef has rested, slice it thinly against the grain.

  3. 5

    Combine Salad Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the sliced beef, mint leaves, cilantro, red onion, and rice powder. Toss gently to mix.

Dressing Preparation

  1. 6

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, chili paste, honey, and minced garlic until well combined.

  2. 7

    Dress the Salad

Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss well to ensure everything is coated evenly.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve

Serve the beef salad immediately, garnished with extra mint leaves if desired.
