Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Cook the Meats

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the smoked bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. In the same skillet, cook the breakfast sausage links until browned. Remove and slice them into bite-sized pieces. Finally, add the smoked ham and sauté for an additional 2 minutes.

  2. 2

    Sauté Vegetables

In the same skillet, add diced onion, bell pepper, and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are soft and translucent.

Cooking the Omelette

  1. 3

    Beat the Eggs

In a mixing bowl, whisk together 4 large eggs, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 4

    Heat the Butter

In a clean skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until bubbly.

  3. 5

    Add the Eggs

Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet, tilting the pan to evenly distribute them. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to set.

  4. 6

    Add Fillings

Once the eggs are partially set, layer the cooked bacon, sausage, ham, sautéed vegetables, cheddar cheese, and Swiss cheese over one half of the omelette.

  5. 7

    Fold and Finish Cooking

Carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the fillings. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the eggs are fully cooked.

  6. 8

    Serve

Slide the omelette onto a plate, cut it in half if desired, and serve hot.
