Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, typically around 8-10 minutes. During the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot. Drain both pasta and broccoli and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce heat to low and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Combine Everything
Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss until well coated. Slice the cooked chicken and place on top of the pasta. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.

Plate the Chicken Alfredo Pasta and enjoy warm. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley for added flavor and color.
