Country Fried Steak with Sausage Gravy
Method
Pork Tenderloin Preparation

Prepare the Pork
Season the pork tenderloin with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside.

Breading Station
In three separate shallow dishes, place flour, beaten eggs mixed with milk, and breadcrumbs.

Bread the Tenderloin
Dip the pork tenderloin first in flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.

Fry the Tenderloin
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded pork tenderloin and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Drain and Serve
Remove the pork tenderloin from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
Country Fried Steak Preparation

Prepare the Steak
Tenderize the round steak by pounding it with a meat mallet, then season with salt and black pepper.

In three separate shallow dishes, place flour, beaten eggs mixed with milk, and breadcrumbs (optional).

Fry the Steak
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded steak and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Prepare the Sausage Gravy
In a separate saucepan, cook breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Make the Gravy
Sprinkle flour over the cooked sausage, stirring for about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk, followed by salt and pepper. Cook until thickened.

Top the fried steak with the sausage gravy and serve hot.
