Method

Hash Browns

  1. 1

    Cook Hash Browns

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the frozen hash browns and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until crispy and cooked through. Once done, remove from heat and set aside.

Scrambled Eggs

  1. 2

    Prepare Scrambled Eggs

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined. In a separate non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and gently stir with a spatula, cooking until the eggs are just set but still soft. Remove from heat and set aside.

Gravy

  1. 3

    Make Sausage Gravy

In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir to combine, cooking for about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble Hashstack

In a serving dish, layer the crispy hash browns at the bottom. Top with a generous portion of scrambled eggs, followed by the sausage gravy. Finally, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Serve immediately.
