Prepare the Biscuit Dough
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the milk until just combined.

Shape and Bake
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently about 5-6 times. Pat into a 1-inch thick circle and cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Prepare the Sausage
In a bowl, mix the ground sausage with black pepper and garlic powder until well combined. Form into 4 equal-sized patties.
