Pancake Preparation
- 1
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.
- 2
- 3
Combine Wet and Dry
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; small lumps are okay.
- 4
Cook Pancakes
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Caramel Sauce Preparation
- 5
Make Caramel
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the granulated sugar and allow it to melt without stirring, swirling the pan occasionally to ensure even melting. Once it turns a deep amber color, add the unsalted butter and stir until melted.
- 6
Add Cream and Salt
Carefully pour in the heavy cream (the mixture will bubble up) and stir until smooth. Add the salt and stir to combine. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Eggs and Bacon Preparation
- 7
Cook Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 8
Assembly
- 9
Serve Pancakes
Stack the pancakes on a plate, top with sliced bananas, and drizzle generously with the caramel sauce. Serve with the cooked eggs and bacon on the side.
