Method
Cooking Prawns
- 1
Prepare the Prawns
Start by peeling and deveining the prawns if not done already. Rinse them under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- 2
Mince Garlic and Chili
Finely mince the garlic cloves and chop the red chilies. Adjust the number of chilies based on your spice tolerance.
- 3
Sauté Prawns
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic and chopped chilies, sautéing for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 4
Cook the Prawns
Add the prawns to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the prawns are pink and opaque.
- 5
Add Lemon Juice
Once the prawns are cooked, remove the skillet from heat and drizzle with lemon juice. Toss to coat the prawns evenly.
Preparing Dipping Sauce
- 6
Combine Sauce Ingredients
In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, chili paste, honey, and sesame oil until well combined.
- 7
Taste and Adjust
Taste the dipping sauce and adjust the flavor if necessary, adding more honey for sweetness or chili paste for heat.
