Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Shape the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties, slightly larger than the buns as they will shrink while cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover to melt the cheese.

  5. 5

    Toast the Buns

While the cheese is melting, toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Sliders

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place the cheesy burger patties on top, followed by a generous handful of crispy onions. Cap with the top half of the bun.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the sliders warm with your favorite sides.
