Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the flank steak, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare Toppings

While the steak is resting, prepare the toppings by dicing the avocado, chopping the onion, and finely chopping the cilantro.

  4. 4

    Warm the Tortillas

Place the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side, or until warmed and slightly charred.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Tacos

Slice the grilled steak into thin strips. Place a few strips on each tortilla, then top with diced avocado, chopped onion, and fresh cilantro. Serve immediately.
