Cooking the Pasta

Cook the Penne Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Cajun Sauce

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

Add the Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper, stirring well to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Add the shrimp to the sauce and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.

Add the cooked penne pasta and grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet, tossing everything together until well coated in the sauce.
