Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare Peach Syrup

In a medium saucepan, combine the fresh peaches, water, and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes until the peaches are soft.

  2. 2

    Steep the Tea

In a separate pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let it steep for about 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags.

  3. 3

    Combine and Strain

Once the peach mixture has cooled slightly, strain it through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher, pressing the peaches to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the solids.

  4. 4

    Mix the Ingredients

Add the steeped tea and lemon juice to the peach syrup in the pitcher. Stir well to combine.

  5. 5

    Serve

Fill glasses with ice, pour the peach tea mixture over the ice, and garnish with fresh mint leaves. Serve chilled.
