Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add the chicken thighs, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off, then dredge in the flour mixture until fully coated.

Fry the Chicken
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken thighs and fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

In a small saucepan, combine honey and red pepper flakes. Heat over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until warmed and combined. Set aside.
