SouLaod Sauce

Method

Preparing the Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss well until all wings are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Arrange the Wings

Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Make sure they are spaced out in a single layer.

  4. 4

    Bake the Wings

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.

Making the SouLaod Sauce

  1. 5

    Melt the Butter

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 6

    Combine Ingredients

Once melted, add the hot sauce, honey, soy sauce, and lime juice. Stir well to combine.

  3. 7

    Simmer the Sauce

Let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until it thickens slightly.

  4. 8

    Add Cilantro

Remove the sauce from heat and stir in the chopped cilantro.

Combining Wings and Sauce

  1. 9

    Toss the Wings

Once the wings are baked, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the SouLaod sauce over the wings.

  2. 10

    Mix Well

Toss the wings in the sauce until they are fully coated.

  3. 11

    Serve

Serve the wings hot with extra sauce on the side if desired.
