Meat Sauce (optional)

Marinara Sauce (optional)

Method

Prepare the Dough

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine gluten-free flour, eggs, olive oil, and salt. Mix well until a dough forms.

  2. 2

    Knead the Dough

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Prepare the Filling

  1. 3

    Combine Filling Ingredients

In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, cooked spinach, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Assemble the Ravioli

  1. 4

    Roll Out the Dough

Divide the dough into quarters. Roll out one quarter at a time on a floured surface until thin.

  2. 5

    Cut and Fill Ravioli

Cut the rolled dough into squares. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each square. Fold the dough over to form a triangle and press edges to seal.

Cook the Ravioli

  1. 6

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.

  2. 7

    Cook Ravioli

Add ravioli to the boiling water and cook for 3-5 minutes or until they float to the surface. Remove with a slotted spoon.

Prepare the Sauce

  1. 8

    Make Meat Sauce (if using)

In a skillet, sauté chopped onion and minced garlic in olive oil until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.

  2. 9

    Make Marinara Sauce (if using)

In a saucepan, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add crushed tomatoes, chopped basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Serve

  1. 10

    Plate the Dish

Serve cooked ravioli with a choice of meat sauce or marinara sauce on top. Enjoy!
