Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Cook Pasta

Add 8 cups of gluten-free pasta to the boiling water. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Drain Pasta

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside. Do not rinse.

Making Alfredo Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt Butter

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter.

  2. 5

    Add Garlic

Once the butter is melted, add 2 teaspoons of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 6

    Add Cream

Pour in 2 cups of heavy cream and stir well. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

  4. 7

    Add Cheese and Seasonings

Gradually whisk in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 0.5 teaspoons of salt, 0.25 teaspoons of black pepper, and optional nutmeg. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Combining Pasta and Sauce

  1. 8

    Mix Together

Add the cooked gluten-free pasta to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.

  2. 9

    Serve

Divide the pasta among serving bowls and top with 0.25 cups of chopped fresh parsley for garnish.
