Method

Prepare Ribeye Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Ribeye

Rub the ribeye steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and fresh rosemary on both sides. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (around 450-500°F or 232-260°C) for at least 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the seasoned ribeye steak on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C). Adjust the time for your preferred doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest on a cutting board for about 5-10 minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices.

Prepare Steak Fries

  1. 5

    Cut the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into evenly sized wedges (about 1/2 inch thick) to ensure even cooking.

  2. 6

    Season the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic powder until all the pieces are well coated.

  3. 7

    Bake the Fries

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
