Prepare the Waffle Batter
- 1
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.
- 2
Combine Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, melted unsalted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
- 3
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; do not overmix. The batter may be slightly lumpy.

Preheat the Waffle Iron
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- 5
Grease the Waffle Iron
Lightly grease the waffle iron with cooking spray or a little melted butter to prevent sticking.
- 6
Cook the Waffles
Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the center of the preheated waffle iron, close the lid, and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions until the waffles are golden brown and crisp.
- 7
Remove and Keep Warm
Carefully remove the waffles and keep them warm in a low oven while you cook the remaining batter.
Serve the Waffles

- 9
Add Toppings
Top the waffles with a generous dollop of whipped cream and your choice of fresh fruit, such as strawberries, blueberries, or banana slices.
