Pasta and Cheese
Method
Preparation and Baking
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 7-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Make the Cheese Sauce
In a separate saucepan over medium heat, combine the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and cream cheese. Stir occasionally until melted and smooth. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency.
- 3
Combine Pasta and Cheese Sauce
Add the cooked elbow macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until the pasta is well coated with the creamy mixture.
- 4
Transfer to Baking Dish
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish and pour the macaroni and cheese mixture into it, spreading it evenly.
- 5
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
